About the Role

Here at Provident, we are currently looking for a Talent & Engagement Manager to join our Talent, Engagement & Diversity Team, which forms part of the wider HR function, on a permanent basis. This is a unique and exciting opportunity, where, reporting into the Senior Talent & Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the business to become the first choice employer for talented people and to leverage a diverse, inclusive, engaged workforce to deliver outstanding business results.

You will support the creation and delivery of an integrated talent management strategy, including identifying effective development interventions and devising robust succession plans.

You will take the lead role on the formation of the colleague engagement strategy, including the running of a colleague engagement survey, partnering with the business in devising action plans to leverage our strengths and focus on improvement opportunities. You will also be responsible for our Colleague Voice, the organisation's collective employee consultation forum. As an individual who thrives on accountability and being able to deliver things from scratch, you will also have responsibility for a number of exciting HR programmes, including a new colleague wellbeing programme and a career pathways programme.

Skills and Experience

We pride ourselves on the service and value we bring to our customers and are looking for someone who is passionate about talent and engagement and either has experience of working within an HR Centre of Excellence as a talent management and or/development specialist, or someone from an HR generalist background who has significant experience in talent management as a Business Partner/HR Manager.

We are looking for an innovative, self-starter who has a proven track record of designing initiatives from scratch and leading them through to implementation with a strong customer centric approach. You will work alongside senior stakeholders within HR and the wider business and build and manage relationships with our external partners. You will be also be responsible for coaching and development an Engagement Consultant.
