About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Test Analyst to join our Software Development Test Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical solutions through the development of automatic tests against software components
  • Provide strong Microsoft .NET development skills to produce automated test scripts and testing solutions
  • Provide strong testing framework skills such as Specflow and Selenium
  • Conform to technical quality and governance processes
    • Peer Reviews
    • Pair-programming
    • Branch / Merge Strategy
    • Unit Test Approach
    • Active documentation
  • Support investigation and diagnostic capability for defects and issues as and when required and engage in issue resolution where appropriate
  • To adhere to all solution development lifecycle methodologies, processes and standards
  • To identify and champion process improvements across the team
  • To be a mentor and coach to other colleagues
  • To build appropriate and effective business relationships
  • To aid 3rd line support when required in order to resolve issues

Skills and Experience
Key test phases (integration, system, performance, regression) with planning and scripting
Web technologies and programming languages with particular skills in C#, ASP.NET, Java Script, XML, CSS
Strong T-SQL, SSIS and SQL Server Skills
In depth knowledge and experience with SOA and ESB environment
