About the Role

We have recently extended our Head Office site and are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager who will manage a team of five people and play a key role in expanding our service offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, engage and motivate the maintenance and Building Services team to deliver business objectives.
  • Ensure an excellent Client and Supplier/Contractor relationship.
  • Responsible for managing costs within budget parameters ensuring value for money.
  • To carry out the role of Responsible Person in terms of fire safety management.
  • Development, implementation and management of annual and 5 year planned, preventative and reactive plans for Godwin Street and associated properties.
  • Ensure compliance with all current statutory legislation as it relates to the built environment.
  • Project work '“ assume the role of SME. Providing guidance and advice to project teams and to take on any additional operational facilities management responsibilities.
Skills and Experience
About You

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Good knowledge of building services, HVAC, M&E, BMS, water systems, UPS etc.
  • Previous experience managing the building maintenance requirements a major office or commercial property.
  • Previous experience managing a major facilities contract.
  • Full understanding of statutory compliance as it relates to the built environment.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Experience of managing a team of people.
  • Willing to work flexible hours to manage any requirements for out of hours working.
  • Detailed knowledge of the legislation that underpins occupancy of property and utilisation of technical skills to obtain competitive advantage.
  • Experience in developing facilities management strategies.
