This is a great opportunity for a Junior to Mid-level Developer who is ready to take the next step in their career. Working with the latest Microsoft and Azure technologies in a dev-ops environment, you'll be working as part of an agile scrum team to deliver solutions for a forward thinking Financial Services organisation,

As a squad member you'll be involved in the end-to-end process of requirements elaboration, development, test and release, bringing experience in working with enterprise scale MVC applications (MVC 4.5) HTML,CSS and Javascript.

Exposure to test automation (TDD/ BDD) is highly desirable, but full training will be given in the role.
Skills and Experience
About You

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience developing enterprise scale C# .Net applications (MVC 4.5)
  • Frontend development exposure using MS.NET
  • Demonstrable front-end development skills
    • Javascript / JQuery/ Vue
    • CSS / HTML 5
    • Content Management Systems
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and Unit Testing, ideally within a VSTS / Azure environment.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, agile delivery environment with regular releases to a live environment.
  • Rigorous attention to detail.
  • Takes an active interest in staying current with the Microsoft stack.
  • Worked as part of a Scrum team with an eye for adding value and detail where needed.
Desirable
  • TDD or BDD
  • Javascript framework
  • Test automation tooling such as Specflow (Cucumber) and Selenium.
  • Experience of working with Continuous Delivery processes and methodologies.
  • Previous exposure to a DevOps style working environment.
  • Understand the requirements of an FCA regulated business.
