About the Role

In this role you will provide administrative support to the Cheque Exchange (CEL) agency network primarily within the Compliance department in accordance with CEL policies and procedures. This is an entry level position and a great opportunity to start your career and gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Anti Money Laundering guidelines and verify information provided by applicants.
  • Make outbound calls to ensure an efficient service is being given.
  • Write reports to NCA and Action Fraud.
  • Identify any issues or further actions required and take appropriate action.
  • Input data accurately and timely.
  • Manage daily telephone queries from agent base.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and working relationships.
  • Make clear and concise diary entries.
  • Provide administrative support as needed including mailshots, document production, etc.
  • Provide cover/support for other CEL functions as and when required
  • Have a clear understanding of the business objectives and how this role contributes to them.
Skills and Experience
About You

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Good written & verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills and a rigorous attention to detail.
  • Self motivated.
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, adaptable & with positive attitude.
  • Able to work under own initiative, with minimal supervision.
  • Good understanding of current legislation surrounding the MSB sector.
  • Good understanding of CEL operating procedures, policies & products.

  • GCSE Maths and English.
  • AML/Compliance/Fraud qualification.
