About the Role

In this role you will research, design, deliver and evaluate bespoke training programmes in line with business objectives for Field Operational Colleagues across the Republic of Ireland, including the induction programme for all field roles including management development training. You will work with stakeholders to identify training needs and provide consultancy to key operational stakeholders on matters relating to training, working autonomously to design learner focused solutions in line with training scope.

This role will require travel across the Republic of Ireland and occasionally trips to our Head Office in Bradford.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver consistently high quality training to Field Operations colleagues and managers including Agent Best Welcome, Manager inductions, management development, and training to support project rollouts and coaching.
  • To provide expert consultancy to key stakeholders on appropriate L&D interventions, carrying out training needs analysis and collating evidence from a variety of sources (including sample groups, QA scores etc) to identify skills or knowledge gaps.
  • To create learning interventions with the learner in mind, designing high quality, well written training to support the identified business need. Expand on current training and development programme (striving for continuous improvement) redesigning for a variety of different learning styles
  • Complete periodic reviews of training material (as directed) to make sure they are compliant and maintained for operational use including the content held within Knowledge Base
  • Manage own time effectively, taking responsibility for multiple projects and deliverables, prioritising effectively and managing stakeholder expectations
  • To liaise with the digital learning solutions team to make sure learning interventions include blended learning and accurate record keeping of training interventions is kept. This includes making sure management information (MI) is accurate and available.
  • Collaborate and business partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to meet training requirements. Where project work is involved, act as the L&D lead with full responsibility for the end to end L&D work, liaising with colleagues as appropriate. Responsible for risk management on project work, escalating material risks or concerns to the project, L&D Manager and relevant business stakeholder. This includes effective communication to colleagues and management on any agreed time lines and key decisions.
  • Project Manage the end to end process of design and development, including communications and implementation of learning solutions to agreed time, budget and quality standards.
Skills and Experience
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience of the Learning cycle including of blended learning approaches: to include learning needs analysis, design and delivery.
  • Experience of working in a multi-site customer service environment.
  • Proven experience of writing to a high standard in line with company branding and tone of voice. Rigorous attention to detail.
  • Capable of working remotely under minimal supervision during and outside normal working hours.
  • Experience in evaluation to show return on investment & training effectiveness.
  • Up to date knowledge of contemporary development models.
  • Experience of coaching preferably up to and including middle management levels.
  • Communication and stakeholder management from junior to senior management levels.
  • Proven experience of L&D business partnering, including the ability to manage own time and workload.
  • P.C literacy to expert level including MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Understand the requirements of a CBI regulated business
  • Experience of running remote training locations.
  • Understanding of design, implementation & embedding of Quality Assurance practices
  • Understand the skills required to be successful manager and create a range of development opportunities to meet different requirements

Desirable Qualifications
  • CIPD qualified (or willing to work towards).
  • Coaching qualification.
  • Insights Discovery Practitioner.
