About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Reward Analyst to join the Group and play a key role within the Group HR Reward Team. You will support the function through the creation, analysis and management of reward data, as well as being responsible for the day to day management of all reward benchmarking and enable you to review processes and provide first line support & resolution of day to day benefit administration and reward queries.

The role will also give you the opportunity and tools you need to support the on-going review, design, delivery and communication of all Provident Financial Group (PFG) wide reward programmes and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the Senior Reward Manager on the review, design and delivery of reward initiatives across PFG, including assistance on salary and bonus review processes.
  • Responsible for being the first line support of day to day benefits, pensions and reward initiatives, building out robust processes.
  • Maintain Reward related intranet pages.
  • Works with HR, Internal Communications, PFG and relevant providers/brokers to enhance employee reward communications and build employee understanding and engagement with PFG's various reward programmes.
  • Using the WTW methodology, delivers day to day benchmarking analysis, supporting HR and the wider business by analysing benchmarking results and highlighting specific functional /role trends and/or other areas requiring further review. Escalates benchmarking results and information as appropriate for further review.
  • Maintains and submits survey data to WTW and other providers as appropriate, builds and maintains effective working relationships with survey and information providers.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Material Risk Taker database and actively assisting with the running of the annual MRT identification process end to end.
  • Operates with relative autonomy within agreed parameters. Can advise/resolve decisions and questions that fall within the agreed parameters/policy without further escalation, but is required to escalate new/non-policy items to the Senior Reward Manager, or Group Head of Reward with recommendations for resolution.
  • Has no direct budget authority but is responsible for creating data and inputting into the design and delivery of compensation awards and reward schemes that have very significant budget impact, as well as providing important HR MI data to the broader business '“ accuracy and attention to detail vital.
Skills and Experience

What skills and experience you will have:

  • Experience of data analysis and interpretation to approach situations where they can increase value of work required.
  • Technically competent and the willingness to adapt, innovate and learn to overcome challenges.
  • Some regulatory remuneration experience is desirable but the willingness to learn on the job is essential.
  • Comfortable with producing MI reports with the ability to question, explain and tell a story. Ideally their knowledge of the industry, our customers and our colleagues will shape their ability to think commercially.
  • Strong stakeholder management whilst interacting with all levels of colleague, from Agent through to the Managing Director, across multiple sites.
  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent.
  • Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent (grade C or above).
  • Further qualifications desirable, including a degree in a numerical subject or specifically related to reward management.
