About the Role

What's the opportunity?

We are currently recruiting for a PMO Analyst to join our growing Group Transformation Team.

As a PMO Analyst you will assist in the definition, maintenance and execution of the standards of change management and related processes. You will support the successful delivery of projects through effective monitoring and reporting, assisting colleagues with the best use of change management disciplines and approaches whilst acting as a key point of contact.

Key responsibilities of a PMO Analyst?

  • To support project managers adherence to the change management framework, processes and tools.
  • Collation of status reporting across multiple projects and portfolios.
  • Tracking and communication of project status and metrics, reporting on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritised view of all supported projects.
  • Acts as a reference point for PMO queries and information and an advocate for best practices in change management.
  • Collation, management & presentation of governance submissions through defined governance framework.
  • Undertake assurance review of key documents e.g. Project Status Reporting, Project Plans, Change Requests & similar.
  • Maintain processes to ensure change management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
Skills and Experience

What will it take to be a successful PMO Analyst?

  • To have supported programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings
  • To have managed all aspects of the monitoring and control processes and implemented corrective actions ensuring actions are implemented and capturing lessons learned.
  • Experience of independently managing all aspects of the change control process across a number of projects
  • At least 2 years’ experience gained within a PMO for a financial services/banking organisation
  • Able to work as part of a team and both take and receive views, as teamwork and sharing of issues is an absolute requirement.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience of MS Project and Visio or similar would be desirable
  • Able to communicate to a diverse range of people both internally and externally, so must be able to communicate effectively and also display concern for impact.
