About the Role
About the Role

Here at Provident Financial, we are looking for a professional and hardworking Front of House Assistant to support the smooth running of our in-house Deli Bar and Café bar.

You will be a friendly face to colleagues who need refreshments and meals throughout the day, serving hot and cold food and beverages using our cashless system

This is a fixed term (6 month minimum), part-time (20 hours per week) position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing a great level of service to our customers, serving a range of food and drink, including barista style coffee using an espresso machine.
  • You will keep track of stock in the fridges, ensuring things are replenished as required
  • Managing risk is a big factor of the role, taking temperatures of food, checking deliveries and completing waste forms is key to ensure we are compliant.
  • Working cohesively with the wider team to deliver team objectives.
Skills and Experience
About You

Skills and Capabilities
  • Excellent customer facing skills and the ability to work at speed.
  • The ability to carry out a manual job that includes lifting, carrying and stretching.
  • Basic hygiene qualification, COSHH, customer service experience are all essential.
  • If you have experience using a barista coffee machine that would be highly beneficial, but training will be provided.
